I am a natural observer of the world around me. Introverted is what I’ve been called. You most likely won’t find me in the center of a room unless pulled there by interest or empathy. I love humanity and culture. It intrigues me. How do we, individually, effect culture? How does culture impact us? These are questions I like to explore through photography. Whether it be a portrait or an image more ethnographic in nature, I’m looking for the true essence of humanity. Time freezes in the fraction of a second when an image is taken. The image that photograph shows, is there for people, for families, for society, forever. That is my purpose. To observe, question and to create a timecapsule of humanity.
